Using Anchor date to Include SYSDATE to the Production scheduling Horizon

Summary:

In our PS solution we have the Anchor date and Time = 28-Nov-2025 12:00 AM and Horizon Extension= Rolling. While we Refresh our PS schedule, the inclusion of SYSDATE in the Horizon start date varies based on the Refresh timing as follows.

  1. Refresh on 29-Jan-2025 11.19 PM
    Result: Horizon Starts from 30-Jan
  2. Refresh on 30-Jan-2025 12.04 AM
    Result: Horizon Starts from 30-Jan
  3. Refresh on 30-Jan-2025 08.16 AM
    Result: Horizon Starts from 31-Jan

Enabling the "Use anchor date as the Horizon start date" option includes the sysdate in the Horizon start date, irrespective of the refresh timing.

Please clarify, having the Horizon extension as "Rolling", if the expectation is to include sysdate to the Horizon, how many hours prior should the Refresh take place. This is to confirm, how an ad-hoc refresh would affect a solved schedule in Production.

Howdy, Stranger!
