VBS Validation for When and Why Start date not working in Promotion flow

Summary:

I am trying to put in a validation in VBS where the Projected End Date(In assignment page) does not exceed 12 months from the Promotion start date in the Promote flow.

The validation seems to always pick up date based on Current date and not the date given in the WheyandWhy Effective date field.

Say for example : Today's date is 04-Feb-20206, Promotion effective date is 20-Feb-2026, the validation seems to throw the error even for date between 05thFeb 2027 to 19th Feb 2027(When actually it has to show the error only for dates beyond 21-Feb-2027).
