On-hand quantity cost shows zero (0.00)

We have imported over 250 items on-hand quantity along with the item cost however, even after running all the related programs the item cost is still showing as 0.00 there are only 5 items that have cost generated successfully. Our costing method is perpetual average and cost profile = Asset. they are all costing enabled and Asset enabled items . Any inputs please on how to generate the item costs for converted on-hand qty?
