Can we scan any on hand lot while processing Order for lot controlled item?

Hi team, We are trying process an order for a lot controlled item in Oracle Fusion Advanced Inv Management, while picking if I scan any other onhand lot for the same item it says "This lot is different from what was suggested" and we cannot proceed further. We have a requirement to scan any onhand lot for outbound, can we do that?
