FCCS Dimension Limits

I have been told previously (and also see in other questions within the community) that there is a 10k limit on each dimension. Does anyone know if Oracle will update that number at some point? Curious if others are near the threshold. We are consistently having to come up with creative ways to deduce the number of members within our project dimension. Any insight greatly appreciated.
