Child of FCCS_Retained Earnings incorrectly reversing December balance in January when not activity

edited Feb 9, 2026 8:06AM in Financial Consolidation and Close 4 comments

Summary:

I have an account that is a child of FCCS_Retained Earnings, which is correctly closing out to FCCS_Retained Earnings at the end of December. When I load the January data, the opening balance of this account is #Missing or zero, as expected. However, after running the consolidation process, the system incorrectly reverses the December balance in January.

The December values are aggregated to FCCS_Retained Earnings, and that value is moved to FCCS_Retained Earnings Prior for Jan-23, which is expected behavior. However, account A1125000 is already aggregated to FCCS_Retained Earnings in Dec-22, yet in Jan-23 I can see a reversal being created even though no data has been loaded for this account in Jan-23.

Howdy, Stranger!
