How can we set the OGL grid pointing to the target field while scrolling through the page

Summary:

we have a set a OGL grid with target field as a section on the page. however when we scroll the page, the section moves at the same time the OGL grid moves but for few fraction of seconds, the grid points to some other section or field.

Is there a way we can attach the field and OGL grid together and while scrolling the page, the OGL grid moves along with the section without any inconsistencies.
