Requirement of Supply Sub inventory as blank in Work Order

Summary:

We have a client requirement of keeping supply sub inventory as blank in work order.

Supply Sub inventory is currently defaulted from plant parameters (last level of defaulting) since it is mandatory to populate supply sub inventory in plant parameters.

Supply sub inventory comes from WMS, hence we need to keep supply sub inventory as blank so that the integration can populate from WMS.

Is there any setup/API from which we can default supply sub inventory as blank?
