Is it possible to delete internal funding sources from an award that were added accidentally?

Summary:

We have a newly created award to which to internal funding sources were added accidentally. They have not been funded, and no budget has been added for them, but there is a project and baseline budget for the Award. The Award is currently in Draft status. The X is greyed out and there does not seem to be a way to delete the sources - would we be able to delete them using the REST API?
