How to supply member names with variables in CalcScript/Groovy?

I'll make this quick; I'm just trying to save myself the chore of digging through the internet and forums for hours.

We sync our labor data from HCM using CSV files. This is nearly 100% automated; however, one thing that isn't is our pay grades.

Each time a new pay grade is created or modified, we're having to go back in the calcscript and add a couple lines of code to handle it. Nothing wrong with this as-is, but it looks disgusting, and it should be done in a much more efficient way, but I don't know the syntax to do it correctly.
