Constrained plan with weekly buckets

Summary:

My customer is considering planning with weekly buckets because their planning horizon is long.
I’d like to understand how the constrained plan with weekly buckets works. In the case of a weekly bucket, how are the processing times for each operation and the dependent demand calculated?

I compared the results between the constrained plan with daily buckets (CP1) and weekly buckets (CP2), and found that the results were different. For example, when I create a manual demand for the finished good in the middle of Week 3, the dependent demand for its components occurs in Week 2 and Week 1 in the daily plan. However, in the weekly plan, the dependent demand occurs in Week 3 and Week 2.
