Learning Resource Alerts - Text in the worklist notification is not showing as expected

Hi All,
Did anyone face the issue we are facing with worklist notifications?

We have created resource alerts for Learning and choose the communication method as 'Worklist' to receive notifications(worklist notification and email notification), I see the alert is working as expected. But the text inside the alert template is not showing as expected for bell icon notifications. whereas email notifications are functioning as expected.

Ex: We have added the html text code in the footer as shown in the screen shot. But I see the text is showing up on top for the worklist notifications.

NOTE: I saw some posts suggesting that to remove any leading spaces in front and at the end of the EL expression for the 'Worklist' communication method. We made sure that there are no spaces in the EL expression.
