Should late disbursement indicator reset to "No" if fund is no longer late?

Summary:

Michigan State University has observed that when a fund is marked as a late disbursement, the indicator remains set to "Yes" even if the student's situation has changed and the fund is no longer late per regulatory guidelines.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

For example, a student has an undisbursed subsidized loan in the fall and has a less-than-half time enrollment status in the spring. Once the fall term is over, the fall disbursement is appropriately identified as a late disbursement.

Student subsequently enrolls in additional spring courses bringing them to a full time status. Now that the student has eligible spring enrollment, the functional expectation is that a fall disbursement would no longer be considered late; however, the disbursement in SFP remains marked as a late disbursement and the added late disbursement criteria are evaluated.

Howdy, Stranger!
