Custom Extract is taking more time to run than expected

Summary:

I was checking and noticed that the payroll flow for 308 is now taking 3.5+hours where it was taking less than 2 hours before. It is critical we find out why the ADP file process is running so long as it’s impacting Payroll processing.
Before 3 months, like in oct or nov, 308 extract is running for 45Min. But now it is taking approx 3hrs 30min.
Could we have any recommendation how to check this timing issue? How to proceed with this?
