Nettable flag in Material status and its overall impacts

Summary:

Client has a requirement to exclude certain sub-inventories from Min Max planning calculations.
One way is by assigning Non-nettable material status to sub-inventory and excluding non-nettable sub-inventories in Min Max calculation.

However, it is not clear what all areas, actions and modules are impacted by the Nettable flag in Material status.
Client does not have Planning or OM module in scope.

Need to know what would be impacts if OM and Planning module is not in scope.
