TCC Candidate Record Lookups on Import?

I'm not sure if this is possible, but it's "logical". LOL  Anyway, what we're trying to do is stop SAP from creating duplicate candidate records when importing "Hires" and "Updates" to existing employees.  What we'd "like" to see is TCC look for candidate records matching key criteria (Employee Number) or (First Name, Last Name, Address1, Zip) and not create a new record if one already exists that matches on those key criteria...it should "update" the old record instead.  (This would happen in cases of "Re-Hires" quite often).  We've just incorporated the Employee Numbers in to the system, and we have
