Internal Job Posting - Created two active assignments for the same person

Hi,

I would like to seek your guidance regarding the below use case related to internal job posting and hiring of the same employee.
Currently, when we attempt to hire the same employee through an internal job posting, the system is either Creating a new assignment under the existing work relationship, or Creating a new work relationship for the same person.
Our expected behaviour is as follows:
• The old record (previous assignment/work relationship) should become inactive.
• The newly hired record (new assignment/work relationship) should remain active and valid.
However, at present, we are facing an issue where both the old record and the newly created record are becoming active, which is not the desired outcome.
