How can we restrict pick confirm to a specific subinventory

Summary:

We have a requirement from the customer to allow Pick Confirm transactions for specific sub-inventories, while restricting Pick Confirm for others.

To achieve this, I created a Material Status (please refer to the attached screenshot) and assigned it to the relevant sub-inventories. However, when creating a Purchase Requisition with a Transfer Order, and then proceeding with Pick Release and Pick Confirm, the system still allows Pick Confirm.

We need to restrict the Pick Confirm transaction for certain sub inventories. Could you please advise on the correct setup to control this behavior?
