Is it possible to do rate inquiry from External Rating Engine in OTM from EBS without planning?

Hi

We are receiving order release in OTM from EBS, in OTM we have configured external rating engine which fetches OTM rates and we can plan a shipment.

The only way we can see the cost without planning the shipment is 'Show Routing Options'. ,

Now we have a requirement where we have to fetch the cost sent in External Rating response to EBS without planning the shipment in OTM.

  1. Can we make an API call from EBS to OTM rate inquiry and send the response from external rating to EBS?
  2. Is there any other way than Show Routing Options to see cost without planning the order through external rating in OTM? any automated process?
