I would like to know whether there are any fields/attributes that can be carried from Supply Planing

in Manufacturing

Hello Experts,

We would like to ask whether there is any standard functionality to pass or propagate attributes from Supply Planning to downstream transactions such as Outside Processing (OSP) Work Orders and Purchase Requisitions (PR).

Currently, our business requires certain information maintained in Supply Planning to be automatically carried forward to these transactions. We are exploring possible approaches and would like to understand:

  • Is there any standard field mapping available from Supply Planning to OSP Work Orders and PR?
  • Can Descriptive Flexfields (DFF) or Extensible Flexfields (EFF) be utilized for this requirement?
  • Are there any recommended best practices or configurations to achieve this?
