How to add location for terminated employees

Is there a way to add or update the location details for employees who are already terminated in the system?

I am trying to correct or complete the location information for terminated workers, but the field seems locked/uneditable after termination.

Is there any recommended approach or workaround—for example, using a correction action, rehiring, or updating via HDL?

Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated!
