Purchase Order Header DFF Attribute to the Manage Orders Search Screen

We have a requirement to add a Purchase Order Header Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) attribute to the Manage Orders search/query screen.
Is it possible to expose a PO Header DFF attribute in the Manage Orders search region? Any guidance or available options would be greatly appreciated.

I also came across the idea titled Search purchasing documents using DFF content — Cloud Customer Connect related to this topic. Is there any planned timeline for its implementation?
