Oracle WMS: enforce single-lot picking?

We have a business requirement to allocate inventory using single-lot picking functionality within Oracle WMS. We understand this capability is available in Oracle Fusion, however, we do not see an equivalent option in Oracle WMS to enforce single-lot picking during allocation/picking.
Please advise whether there is any supported configuration, picking rule, or workaround to achieve single-lot picking in Oracle WMS, and if so, the recommended approach.
