Background information: In version 25D Oracle Learning introduced Learning Catalog Profiles to secure access , which is just what we need. To leverage it, we must first create our learning catalog profiles and then we must associate all our learning items (courses, offerings, specializations) to the appropriate learning catalog profile. We have a few thousand learning items, and we will perform this association in bulk, using HDL (CourseV3 business object, attribute LearningCatalogProfileNumber). So far, so good. We will only have 10 learning catalog profiles and I can lookup the LearningCatalogProfileNumber in the UI.
