Absence accrual calculation for an employee - Legal employee seniority date Vs Enterprise seniority
We are encountering an issue with the absence accrual calculation for an employee who has been rehired multiple times.
As per the accrual matrix configuration in the absence plan, the employee’s seniority date should be 20-Jan-2025. However, the system is calculating the length of service using 26-Oct-2017 instead.
Due to this incorrect seniority date being considered, the employee is being placed in the bracket [LengthOfService.LengthofServiceasofEvent] Between 8 AND 11.99999, whereas the employee should fall under [LengthOfService.LengthofServiceasofEvent] < 5.
As a result, accruals are being calculated incorrectly.
