inactive consolidation method for consolidation node - implications
Summary:
Hi, what can be the impact of changing a consolidation node that is not a shared member to Inactive (by changing ownership from 100% to 0%)?
Content:
I am working with a complex and dynamic entity structure. During the implementation, the structure was set up with “LG” nodes to allow correct rollup and subgroup consolidations. Enhanced Organization by Period (EOBP) is enabled.
When we change the hierarchy, we set the shared entities to Inactive on the old path and make them Active on the new ownership path.
The question arises when we are moving a group of companies. We have an “LGA” consolidation node set up as a subsidiary with 100% ownership. Underneath, Company A is set up as a holding with 100% ownership, together with other “shared” subsidiaries.
