Unable to edit person type in non-worker employment record

Navigation: - MCG>Person management>search emp>Under assignment details>Person type

I’m unable to update or correct the person type for existing non-worker employment records where the person type is set to None or Empty, as the LOVs are not available and the field is not editable. However, for records where the person type already has a value, I’m able to update or correct the person type and the LOVs are available.

Please help me on that.
