Actual shipment reception only with S_SHIP_UNIT Without using the replace children

Summary:

I would like to know if, when my order releases are planned and I have received the actual shipment without using the replace children, it is possible to detach the order release from the shipment without impacting other processes (billing, invoicing, sales, etc.)?

More precisely, we would like to use the actual shipment to integrate only s_ship_unit items, this will result in the release objects being detached with the shipment but we save the shipment ID to the initially scheduled order releases on a refnum for example.
