Redwood Cost Lists - How to enter cost charges manually for existing item and new validity dates

edited Feb 27, 2026 9:41AM in Pricing 2 comments

Summary:

Need to enter new cost for an item that already exists on the cost list. For example, an existing cost 1 EUR is valid since 21.12.2024 00:00, now I want to enter a new cost of 1,2 EUR starting with 01.03.2026 00:00.

We need a step-by-step guide on how to enter new cost charges using the Redwood interface. I've checked the documentation, but cannot find them.

I want to add new cost for the same item starting 01.03.2026 00:00. I select the row, click row Action to Edit:

I tried to set End Date here, but it is read-only. I can enter Cost Amount manually, but this way I will override existing cost.
