Auto-create Transfer Orders for planning-driven WOs in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP

Hi all,

We’re using contract manufacturing. Our Work Orders are created from Oracle Fusion Planning Central. When a WO is released, orchestration creates a Purchase Order for the service item in the BOM; the WO and PO are linked so processing the WO automatically creates receipts against the PO.

The business uses separate organisations for manufacturing and sales-order fulfilment. For that reason they currently create a Transfer Order (TO) for each WO outside Fusion and fulfil the TO when the WO completes.

Current flow

1. Planning creates WO → on release orchestration creates a linked PO for the service item.
2. TOs are created and fulfilled manually outside Fusion.
