Hello Experts,
I am working in Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and have a requirement related to the Manage Project Costs standard page.
Navigation: Projects → Costs → Manage Project Costs
On the Search section of this page, users can search for expenditure items using multiple criteria such as Project Number, Task, Expenditure Type, Accounting Period, etc.
Our requirement is to make the “Expenditure Item Date” field mandatory when users perform a search. The goal is to ensure users always provide a date or date range when querying expenditure items. This is mainly to prevent very large searches across long time periods, which may impact performance and return excessive results.
