EDMCS request unable to commit due to user who contributed to the request was disabled.

Summary:

Our EDMCS has been configured so that we have multiple teams contribute to a request as part of the end to end request life cycle.

From a corporate security perspective we have a policy once a staff member departs all their access must be revoked on their final day.

We have a situation where one of our request, is stuck and unable to be committed, due to one of the contributors to the request has now left the company and their EDMCS access revoked. At the time of his departure the request was in "in flight" status.

What is Oracle's recommended remediation process in this scenario, without having to restart the request again from submission stage as we have multi level approval in place also?
