Can we able to update the substitute item during PO receipt when ASN exists?

Summary:

PO created for Item A . Item relationship exists for the Item A with Item B as Substitute.

ASN created wrongly for Item B via interface.

We are not able to change item code from item B to Item A in receiving and system is not allowing to update the item.

Is it possible?
