timeout - OIC3 - PostgreSQL adapter

Hi Team,

We are using OIC3 instance. We have a integration using PostgreSQL adapter, at high level:

  • PostgreSQL fetch (DB Adapter via Agent)
  • Fusion receipt creation (REST/SOAP call to Oracle Fusion)
  • PostgreSQL back update (DB Adapter via Agent)———-failing with backupdate.

Integration sometimes completes in less than 4 minutes, but during month ends, it takes 15 to 20 minutes and the integration fails.

Agent logs:

Caused by: 

java.net.SocketException: Connection timed out.

at org.postgresql.core.VisibleBufferedInputStream.readMore(VisibleBufferedInputStream.java:161)

We are asked to increase the timeout. Can you please kindly guide us, how to fix this problem.
