Impact of Enabling Permission Groups on Existing User Roles

Summary:

We wouldn't like to create a new Role **** AI Agent Explorer and assign for everyone.
Currently, we do not have Enable Permission Groups activated for the following roles: **** Employee, **** Line Manager, and **** Contingent Worker. If we enable this option for these roles, do you know whether the current users might experience any issues or lose any existing privileges?
We need to enable this setting in order to see these roles under Security for the Agents to see those roles.

We noticed that once we enabled the Enable Permission Group, we can't rollback.
