EDMCS Custom/Universal PCMCS application can be retained as‑is when upgrading PCMCS enterprise

At present, EDMCS is configured with a Custom / Universal PCMCS application to manage the Chart of Accounts and hierarchies, which is integrated with the Standard PCMCS applications in the downstream systems.

As part of the future‑state roadmap, when the downstream PCMCS applications are migrated from Standard PCMCS to Enterprise PCMCS (EPCMCS), we would like to confirm whether the existing EDMCS Custom / Universal PCMCS application can continue to be used and integrated with the downstream EPCMCS applications, or whether any additional configuration re‑mapping activities are required to ensure a smooth migration.
