EDM inherited property values are not being extracted in the Oracle EBS extract

Summary:

We are using the Oracle E‑Business Suite adapter in EDM for our ERP EBS application, and we need the AllowBudgeting property(Custom Property) to behave as an inheriting property. Although inheritance correctly passes the parent value to child nodes, these inherited changes are not appearing in the incremental extract(Extract defined from hierarchy viewpoint), and only the parent’s value is extracted.

The EDM admin guide says that property inheritance should not be used for Oracle Financials Cloud GL applications because segment values are exported from the list viewpoint.

We would like to confirm whether this restriction also applies to Oracle E‑Business Suite GL applications. If so, does this mean users must manually update the AllowBudgeting property for all parent and child nodes? Alternatively, is there any supported way to leverage the inheritance feature for ERP (EBS) applications so that inherited values can still be captured correctly in incremental extracts?
