Is there a REST API or service to retrieve user language preference

in HCM REST APIs

Hello,

In Oracle Fusion Applications, users can set their language preferences from Set Preferences → Language. The selected language determines the UI language for the user session and default application interface.

We are developing an integration and would like to retrieve the language preference of the currently logged-in user from an external application.

Our questions are:

  1. Is there any public REST API, SOAP service, or other supported service in Oracle Fusion Cloud to retrieve a user's language or locale preference?
  2. If such an API is not available, is there any recommended approach to determine the user's language (for example through session context, profile options, or another service)?
