Oracle Fusion Page composer - Required filed not validating NULL

Summary:

I have made the field as required using page composer, but it is not showing any error message if the field has NULL value.

Field "Customer Classification" in "Create Customer" page

Changed using "Page Composer - Structure - Required"

It is showing * to show as mandatory but if you don't select anything on this field and move to next and save, it is not showing any error that the filed is NULL.
