Clear cell comments programmatically

Is there any way of clearing cell comments for a POV (e.g. Working FY26) programatically instead of using the manual Web action Clear Cell Details ?

I have seen some other people ask this so I don't think it's possible; we want to streamline this action to happen as part of a business rule preferably. I have looked at Clear Cube (job), Clear Data (rule template), REST, Pipeline actions - none provide the ability to clear cell comments for a particular data slice. We used to do this through SQL but that option is no longer available.
