How does Staff Planning and Workload Planning and Requirements work with Work Schedules

in Workforce Management

Hello everyone,

I've been going through this new feature: Workload Management, and I'm trying to understand its end result, how things are calculated and validated in this section.

Note, I did go through the documentation in the following links:

https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/human-resources/fahbo/guidelines-for-loading-workload-plans-for-workforce-scheduling.html#u30243540

While trying this feature, I had a few questions come up:

  • What impact will the workload have to the schedules published?
  • What are the best practices for the use of workload plans?
  • Are the workload requirements only imported through HDL?
  • I tried to load through HDL a baseline workload plan and here are the results:
