ARCS transaction matching integrations - how to map period to transaction date

in Account Reconciliation

We have a source file that does not contain a reliable transaction date column. We want all transactions in the file to map to the same date, which would also be the period. Is there a way to map the transaction date to the period used when loading the file in data exchange?
