DM: how to lock users out of a DM Plan or end user session before running a BIP rpt or DM plan

Is there an automatic way to lock all users out of a Demand plan or end their session before running a BIP report, Demand Plan, or archiving a demand plan?

Users during the weekend are making updates to a Demand Plan while a BIP report is running to pull data from the dynamic tables. Consequently, the BIP report errors because its timeouts.

Is there a SQL script that could help me identify when a user is in a Demand Plan or is using Demand Management?
