When creating a new sales order, users are unable to view customer address information in the customer search drop‑down list. This limitation creates confusion when multiple customers share similar or identical names, increasing the likelihood of selecting the wrong customer and causing downstream billing errors.
- Use Case and Business Need (Required):
In the current Sales Order creation flow, the customer search field only displays the customer's name. Many organizations maintain multiple customer records with similar naming conventions (e.g., franchise locations, subsidiaries, or customers with common names). Without visibility into the associated address, users cannot confidently identify the correct customer record. This results in:
