Summary: Intercompany eliminations across different LOBs retain source LOB instead of defaulting to “No LOB"

Content:

The customer is facing an issue in FCCS related to intercompany eliminations. When transactions occur between entities belonging to different Lines of Business (LOBs), the elimination is correctly posted at the first common parent entity.

However, the problem is with the LOB dimension in the elimination entries. Instead of showing a neutral value like “No LOB”, the system retains the original source LOB values from the transacting entities.

Expected Behavior:
For intercompany eliminations across different LOBs, the system should assign the LOB dimension as “No LOB” to reflect consolidation at the common parent level.

Howdy, Stranger!
