How to create a copy of seeded "Employees Extract" HCM Extract

Is it possible to create a copy or download a seeded HCM Extract? I'm interested in using the Employee Extract but it's currently locked and inactive, the copy and export buttons are greyed out.

I can download the XML schema (XSD) can that be used to Import again?

I'm struggling to see the point of the seeded extracts? When you can't run them, copy them or modify them?

Any help or advice would be welcome.
