Ability to search by Preferred Name in Redwood Pages

Summary:

Hi Experts,

We need the ability to search persons by their preferred name in Redwood pages. Currently this functionality is working in Person Management page but it is not working as expected in Redwood pages. We have Preferred name as a selected attribute in Manage Person Name Formats so expect that persons should be searchable through their preferred names as well along with their legal names. Has anybody had a similar requirement and has found a way to achieve it?
