Date value set in the Contract invoice header DFF

in Project Management

I am attempting to create a Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) at the Contract Invoice Header level. However, when selecting the Date data type, no corresponding attribute columns are available. It appears that only Character data type attributes are supported in this context.

Please advise on how Date-type data can be captured at the invoice header level?
