What is easy way of copying historical data from older sites to newer sites

Summary:

In Demand Mgmt cloud, Business wants to reclassify certain Customer group. the customer has 14 accounts and sites and now business is adding newer 14 accounts and sites to it. the future SO will be against these newer sites going forward. so data collection process will pick data for these newer sites. business is not marking older sites as inactive but no transaction will happen against them.
