Absence plan balance carryover after global transfer
Summary:
When an eligible associate undergoes a Global Transfer to a new Legal Employer. The associate remains eligible for the plan in the new Legal Employer (if eligibility criteria continue to be met). The existing Absence balance automatically transfers to the new employment record (no reset to zero). The Global Transfer is treated as a continuation of employment. The Absence plan remains available for absence entry after the transfer. Absence requests continue to reduce the balance correctly after the transfer. No duplicate quarterly allotment is generated as a result of the Global Transfer. Historical Absence transactions remain viewable.
